We are seeking a financial professional to join a large international FMCG company. As an Operations Controller, your main focus will be to enhance and optimize the financial performance of the factory. In this role, you will act as a business partner to the Department Managers, Shared Service Center and Central Finance team.

Responsibilities: Interim Operations Controller - FMCG

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a finance business partner to the department managers, managing the balance sheet/cash flows and month-end closing processes;
  • Participating in the closing and rolling forecast process;
  • Analysis and visualization of the financial performance of various parts of the factory;
  • Identifying financial risks and opportunities and driving necessary action plans;
  • Actively implementing continuous improvement to financial control processes and tools;
  • Pro-active stakeholder management within the factory, central finance and SSC;
  • Be one of the key users of the BI tools (being) implemented.

 

Requirements: Interim Operations Controller - FMCG

To be successful in this role, you are expected to have:

  • At least 5 years of relevant finance experience in a complex, multinational context (factory/operations controlling is a plus);
  • Experience working with SAP;
  • Excellent analytical skills, accurate and strong interpersonal and communication skills and positive energy;
  • An open mind, and are a reliable, proactive and team-oriented person;
  • Strong communication and technical skills.

 

The Offer: Interim Operations Controller - FMCG

This is a freelance position that will start immediately and last for 3 months. The all-in freelance rate will be between €80 - €90 per hour. We can also do a temporary flex contract if you are not a freelance professional.
